The Albany Masonic Lodge Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23 at Albany Golf Course.

Entry fee for the four-person scramble is $300 per team. Hole sponsorships are available for $500. A sponsorship combined with a team entry is $700.

Entries are limited to the first 12 paid teams.

“We have not had any trouble in filling it up in years past,” Albany Mason John Tate said. “Every team that plays will get some kind of prize, and there’s a cash payout for the first place winners.”

Proceeds benefit the Albany Masonic Wisdom Foundation, which awards college scholarships to Albant High School graduates each year.

Checks should be made payable to Albany Masonic Wisdom Foundation.

The event is scheduled for a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. A long-drive contest will be held on the ninth hole with a closest-to-the-pin contest on the sixth hole.

Tate said lunch will be served before play starts and snacks will be available during play.

For more information or to enter, contact Tate at 325-514-0367 or Randall Palmore at 325-762-5166.
