Lady Lions named to all-district 10-2A team

Four members of the Lady Lion basketball team received all-district honors, including three second team picks and one honorable mention.

Seniors Alli Hill and Elia Hebel, along with sophomore Brylee Moore, were named to the second all-district team for their play during the District 10-2A competition.

Senior Torie Fuentes received honorable mention.

“In a district filled with lots of very good players, I’m very proud of these four players for being recognized,” head girls basketball coach Tate Thompson said. “Our year didn’t turn out like we wanted, but it is great to see some of our kids get recognized.”

The Lady Lions finished the district race with a 3-9 record.
