Lady Lions to host tourney

The Albany Lady Lions volleyball team endured a difficult week as continuing injury problems coincided with matches against larger schools.

Albany (4-11) visitedAbilene Christian on Tuesday, Aug. 27, losing a hard-fought four-set match 20-25, 19-25, 27-25, 2628. After traveling to tournaments the last two weekends, the team will host the Albany Summer Slam to close out the tournament season.
