Two-a-days started on Aug. 5 and the players continue practice drills to improve footwork, strength, and stamina.

This week, the athletes started working on blocking and tackling.

“There was some good and bad,” said coach John Hughes after Monday’s practice. “Overall though, it was a good day.”

The Bulldogs will have their first scrimmage in Baird tomorrow, Aug. 16, at 6:00 p.m.

They have a second scrimmage in Gustine on Friday, Aug. 23 before the season kicks off in Benjamin on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Moran plays six-man football in District 6-1A, along with Blackwell, Loraine, and Trent.

District competition will begin on Oct. 25.
