The JV Lion football team will play in Tuscola Thursday (today) against the Jim Ned JV with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.

The JV was originally without a game this week since Cross Plains isn’t fielding a JV team, but the substitute game was arranged by coaches several days ago.

Fans will have to purchase tickets in advance at the Jim Ned website: jimned.esc14.net. Use the “tickets” in the main menu bar and chose the JV game to purchase online. All tickets are $5 each.

Fans must use the visitors entrance located at the baseball field. Passes will be honored, but fans must wear masks and observe social distancing.

The JV Lions will host Wylie on Nov. 5 to end the year. The kickoff at Nail Stadium is set for 5:00 p.m.

Undefeated so far for the season, the JV had one game cancelled earlier in the season due to weather, along with several district teams not able to field both a varsity and junior varsity.

The JV Lions were scheduled to host Santo on Oct. 23, but the Wildcats cancelled on Friday morning, leaving the Lions with no game to play last week.
