Jr. high teams to face Hawley

The Albany Junior High Lady Cubs Red team suffered a 39-21 loss to Cisco on Monday in its first home game of the season.

Braylee Clark and Amber Miramontes each scored six points to lead the team in scoring, while Mimi Ivy added four points. Madison Parrott and Caroline Chapman each had two points and Zayne Lefevre had one.

The Lady Cubs White and Red teams will host Hawley on Monday, Nov. 29. The first game will start at 5:30 p.m.

Eighth Grade Boys

The Cubs eighth grade team went on the road Monday and defeated Cisco 22-15.

Huffman Heatly poured in 16 points, hitting two 3-pointers to lead Albany. Brody Oliver scored four points, and Mason McCloy scored two.

Seventh Grade Boys

The Cubs’ seventh grade team dropped a 26-21 decision at Cisco, outscored 19-12 in the second half.

Sam Vickers was Albany’s high scorer with 13 points. Colter Edgar added six and Zane Green two.

Boys B Team

The Cubs B team, a combination of seventh and eighth grade players, lost 27-0 at Cisco.

The junior high boys teams will visit Hawley starting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29.
