Jr. high action to get underway

Both the Albany junior high football and volleyball programs will kick off next week with the first games of the season.

The Lady Cubs will host Woodson in one combined game at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

The volleyball teams will be playing one game each week either on Monday or Tuesday.

The two junior high football teams will travel to Dublin on Thursday, Sept. 3 for games starting at 4:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to check with host schools of any out-of-town games to make sure how they are distributing or reserving tickets before making the trip. Restrictions on attendance may apply due to restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The football teams will travel to Hamlin for games on Sept. 10, returning for the first home game against Haskell Sept. 17.
