The foursome of Randy Walker, Rodney Barton, Charles Barrett, and James Waters claimed a four-stroke victory Friday, Oct. 14 in the 15th annual John Rose and Jim Law Memorial Albany Kiwanis Charity Golf Tournament and Fajita Fiesta at Albany Golf Course.

The quartet carded a score of 53 to top the 10-team field. Teams representing API and First Financial Bank tied for second place at 57.

The event benefits the Albany K Charity Scholarship Fund. Kiwanian Zach Maberry reported approximately $9,000 was raised.

“That’s a good year for us,” Maberry said.

In addition to the team premiums, prizes were awarded for long drive on two holes and closest to the pin on three.

Long drive winners were Randy Hudson (fourth hole) and Walker (ninth hole).

Closest to the pin winners were Barton (fifth and eighth holes) and Sonny McCauley (sixth hole).
