The Little Cubs Cheer Camp will continue accepting registration until the start of its three-day run on Monday, July 25.

Preregistration has concluded with all campers preregistered receiving a camp T-shirt. But anyone wishing to attend can still do so, Albany cheerleader sponsor and camp organizer Nickie Leveridge said.

“Kids can still come; they just will not get a shirt.” Leveridge said. “We will have cheer items for sale.”

Registration at the camp will be held in the gym foyer. Camp sessions will be conducted in the old gym.

The Little Cubs Cheer Camp, which will run through Wednesday, July 27, is for three years old up to incoming sixth graders.

Sessions will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. with instruction by Albany’s varsity and junior high cheerleaders.

A performance for parents will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Junior high cheerleaders will hold their camp in the afternoons following Little Cubs Cheer Camp.

Each day of the camp will have a theme – Tie Dye for Monday, Rock & Roll for Tuesday, and Camo shirt/uniform for Wednesday. Cheer items will be for sale all three days of the camp.

Camp participants will be asked to perform with their groups in August at the Athletic Booster Club’s Ice Cream Supper.

Cost is $35, with $20 for each additional family member.
