The Bulldogs lost on Friday against the non-conference Rotan Yellowhammers 19 to 25.

Moran Independent School District athletic director John Hughes said the team continues to improve with each game even if the scoreboard does not show it.

Moran plays Blackwell, who is posting a 1-2 record, away this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Hughes added that it will be another tough game.

The Lady Bulldogs played Hawley on Saturday, Sept. 9, losing both games.

MISD volleyball coach and principal Jo Hise said  several good things happened in the game, but the girls struggled to break the serves.

On Tuesday night, the junior high and varsity girls played against Rising Star.

The Moran varsity are scheduled to play against Strawn in an away game on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10:00 a.m., and then will go to Ranger for a 5:00 p.m. game on Sept. 22.

“I look forward to a good match on Saturday with Strawn,” Hise said.
