The Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) recently announced the list of coaches and athletes selected to participate in the Big Country Chevy Dealers 2021 FCA All-Star Festival.

Albany High School senior athletes selected for football are Ryder Wilkins for the Red Team and Wesley Estridge for the Blue Team.

Wilkins and Estridge will face off against each other on Saturday, June 12 at the 22nd Annual Myrle Greathouse All-Star Football Classic in Abilene.

Alli Hill and Torie Fuentes were named to the FCA North volleyball team and will play the South team on Saturday, June 12 in the 9th Annual FCA All-Star Volleyball game.

Albany is well-represented in baseball with a total of four players being picked for the North Team roster. 

Jackson Chapman, Parker Henry, Cade Neve, and William Webb will go to bat against the South team on Friday, June 11 at the eighth annual FCA All-Star baseball game in San Angelo. 

AHS coach Tate Thompson was named as the assistant women’s basketball coach for the South team. 

Thompson will be coaching on Saturday, June 5 at the 13th annual All-Star women’s basketball game. 

Big Country athletes selected for the all-star teams were officially announced at an event last Sunday, March 21 in Abilene.

The Big Country FCA serves communities spread across a 37-county area including Abilene, the Concho Valley, the Brownwood area and the Cross Timbers/Stephenville area.
