The Lady Lions scored 37 points to finish sixth in the team standings.

“I was really proud of the way we competed,” girls coach Ryder Peacock said. “Going in, we felt good about Briley  Tabor and Kiana Roberson in the field events. Even when you know you have a good chance, you want to see them compete well and get better. I thought both girls did a good job of getting good marks.”

Albany athletes claimed five gold medals and accounted for 14 individual regional berths. Adam Hill swept the boys hurdles races, while Roberson swept the girls throwing events. Cole Chapman won the boys high jump and was second in the long jump and triple jump. Chapman had season-best marks in the high jump and triple jump.
