Scrambles to start April 7

Afternoon golf scrambles will get underway on Wednesday, April 7 at the Albany Municipal Golf Course, according to Albany Golf Club representative James Waters. 

“We will start next week, weather permitting,” said Waters, who encouraged participants to be at the course and signed up by 5:20 p.m.

Entry fees are $10 for club members and $15 for non-members. 

“People need to be there as early as they can, so that teams can be formed and hole assignments made,” Waters said. “We need to be able to start playing at 5:30 p.m., especially this early in the spring, when it still gets dark fairly early.”
