William Jack Pilcher
William Jack Pilcher, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 31, 2026. He was born to Bill and Rosa Pilcher in De Leon, Texas. On December 4, 1954, Jack married Nadine Vandivere. They had two girls, Kathyleen and Rebecca.
Jack loved to help people and build and repair things. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. Many times, church classes and friends would come together and play music. Jack loved sharing God’s Word by teaching, serving as a church Deacon, or being a good friend. Jack served on the De Leon City Council, was an officer of the De Leon Lions Club, and volunteered with the Food Bank.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Pilcher; daughter, Rebecca Tankersley; brothers, John Pilcher, Ed Pilcher and Bill Pilcher; and sisters, Geneva Osborn and Dorothy Singletary.
Survivors are sisters, Nelsie Miller of Zephyr, Texas, and Juanita Cox of Lamesa, Texas; daugther, Kathyleen Williams and husband Danny of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Sara Scott and husband Cody of Mingus, Texas; Ross Williams and wife Angela of Oxford, Alabama, and Rachel Auten and husband Ross of Oletha, Kansas; and four great grandchildren, John Auten, Ross Auten, Bailey Williams and Emmett Williams.
Graveside services celebrating Jack’s life were held Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery, De Leon, Texas. Condolences may be offered online at www.nowlinandersfh.com.
