Vickie Gore Durilla, age 69 and lifetime resident of Albany, passed from this life to her eternal home on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Vickie’s wishes were to be cremated and no service is planned for now. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary of Albany.

Vickie Gore was born August 16, 1955 in Albany, Texas to Johnny Robert Gore and Thelma Fern Lee Gore. She grew up in Shackelford County and was a graduate of Albany High School. She furthered her education and became a LVN and worked in nursing homes in the surrounding counties. Vickie was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Albany. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kaylee Dawn Durilla; three brothers, Elmer Gore, Jr., James D. Gore, David Gore; one sister, Bobbie Cauble.

Vickie is survived by her son, Chad Nia; two nieces, Nicole Reynolds and husband Jason, Melissa Lowrie and husband David; ; one nephew, Jeff Merrell and wife Tara.
