PATSY KEY

Patsy Key, age 84 of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, May 4 at Albany Cemetery with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Patsy Louise Donaldson was born Sept. 17, 1935 in Albany, Texas to John Maurice Donaldson and Edna Geraldine Childers Donaldson. 

Following graduation from Albany High School, Patsy married Bobby Linn Key on July 31, 1953 in Albany. She was a member at Friendship Baptist Church and loved going to church, attending Bible studies, and spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Edna Donaldson; her husband, Bobby Key; and one sister, Peggye Jean Day King.

Mrs. Key is survived by two sons, Maurice Key of Albany, Glenn Key and wife Becky of Hunt; one daughter, Ginger Prewit and husband Lige of Breckenridge; one accepted daughter, Annette Harris and husband Rusty of Albany; five grandchildren, Chris Hargett and wife Jessica, Matt Hargett and wife Christina, Patti Duncan, Rowdy Key and wife Kacey, Cody Key and wife Morgan; and seven great grandchildren.
