Nadine Vandivere Pilcher, 86, of San Angelo, formerly of De Leon, passed from this world to be with Jesus, March 4, 2023, in Brownwood, Texas.  She was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Anson, Texas to Ernest and Tressie Vandivere. She married William Jack Pilcher on Dec. 4, 1954, in Rising Star, Texas.

Jack and Nadine lived in Albany, Texas where their girls grew up. They moved to Marshall for job opportunities. When they retired they moved back to Jack’s hometown of De Leon. In 2013, they moved to San Angelo to be with their girls. During her lifetime Nadine was very active in churches and their communities. She enjoyed her customers as she worked as a teller at banks.

Nadine is survived by her husband, Jack Pilcher; her daughters, Rebecca Tankersley and Kathy Williams and husband, Danny; sister, Ernestine Rankin; grandchildren, Sara Tankersley, Ross Williams and Rachel Auten; great grandchildren, Ross Auten, John Auten, Bailey Williams and Emmett Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Graveside services will be held in De Leon Cemetery on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with grandson Ross Williams, officiating. Instead of flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity in her memory. Condolences may be offered online at www.nowlinandersfh.com. PD
