MARVIN PRESLEY

Marvin Hershel Presley, 80, of Albany, Texas passed away after long illnesses at 11:10 am, Friday Sept. 27, 2024 at Brickyard Health Home in La Porte, Indiana with some family by his side.

Marvin was born on Feb. 13, 1944 to Willie Presley and Mary Larison of Trumann, Arkansas. Marvin mastered in the business of floor covering for many years. He shared his mastery of his craft in homes in this community.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching college and professional sports.

He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Margie Sue Presley Smith of Albany.

Surviving are his children, Kimmie Sue Presley Little and husband (Rob) of Michigan City, Indiana, Scott Presley and wife Melinda Presley of Albany, and Devon Chyenne Presley of Scottsdale, Arizona. Grandchildren are Lindsey Presley Vaughn of Albany, Kasey Presley Hughes and husband Ryan of Centerton Arkansas, Dr. Hailey Presley of Austin, and Aaron Presley Schwark of Michigan City, Indiana. Great grandchildren are McCoy, McCamey, and McCenlee Vaughn of Albany, and Ella Rose Hughes and Jude Hughes of Centerton, Arkansas.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all who have helped with Marvin in this community, especially his special relationships with his close friends Jackie Snyder and Ennis Brooks and his favorite cousin Jimmy Presley of West Memphis, Arkansas who was like a brother to him.

Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100, is caring for the arrangements.
