MARTHA ZENKNER

Martha Zenkner, age 79 of Springtown, formerly of Albany, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Her family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary of Albany.

Martha Elizabeth Bowsher was born Feb. 11, 1941 in Albany, Texas to parents, George Bowsher and Anna Shelton Bowsher. She married Manfred Zenkner on Dec. 4, 1960 in Albany. 

Upon moving back to Albany, she worked at City Grocery. Mrs. Zenkner enjoyed quilting, woodworking and fishing in her spare time. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manfred Zenkner; her parents, George and Anna Bowsher; one brother, Travis Bowsher; two sisters, Joyce Vinson; Neva Mitchell.

Mrs. Zenkner is survived by her three children, Felicia McDonald and husband Jarrell of Weatherford, Deneen Edington and husband Eddie of Albany, Kyley Zenkner and wife Christina of Florida; one brother, Wade Bowsher and wife Dolores; one sister, GeorgiaAnn Barrett and husband Charles; six grandchildren, Marshall Calvin and wife Stephanie, Ethan Edington and wife Malia, Kyleigh Zenkner, Kaiden Zenkner, Kiley Hunt, Karsyn Hunt; two great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Emery; numerous nieces and nephews and special thanks to her care givers, Wesley and Sandra Grimes and to the staff of U.S. Renal Care of Azle.
