Alice Lynn Breeden, age 80 of Snyder, formerly of Albany, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Slaton Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 15 at First Christian Church of Albany, with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Lynn Breeden was born Oct. 9, 1942, in Artesia, New Mexico to parents, Andrew Clinton Tipps and Bobbie Louise Pate Hoard. Mrs. Breeden grew up in Pecos, Texas, and later graduated from Pecos High School in 1961. She married James Earl “Rusty” Breeden on Oct. 13, 1967. Mrs. Breeden worked as an obstetrics nurse for many years as well as a Deputy Sheriff in Shackelford County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Breeden; her parents, Andrew Clinton Tipps, Bobbie Louise Pate Hoard and stepfather, Joe B. Hoard; her grandparents, Leonard Lee and Anna Belle Pate; one sister, Bettye Ann Kennedy; and one granddaughter, KaraLyn Michelle Price.

Mrs. Breeden is survived by four daughters, Jerri Klein Glenn and husband Mitch of Euless, Texas, Nancy Jo Breeden of Graham, Texas, Jana Kaye Price and husband Drew of Snyder, Texas, Betsy Suzanne O’Briskie and partner Monica Price of Aledo, Texas; nephew, Raleigh Wendell Breeden of Snyder, Texas; seven grandchildren, Christopher Lee Glenn, Cody Ryan Glenn and wife Samantha, Robert Wayne Crow and wife Tiffiony, James Scott Crow, Jonathon David Crow, Matthew Lee Crow, and Tanner Logan Price and wife Riley; and 14 great grandchildren.
