KRISTY BRINEGAR

Kristy Brinegar, age 44 of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10 at Gunsight Baptist Church with Patrick Frishe officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Kristy Dene Smith was born Nov. 7, 1974 in Temple, Texas to Rickey Eugene Smith and Dorothy “Lou” Boyle Smith. 

On July 25, 2009, Kristy married Larry Brinegar. She worked as a manager at Chicken Express and was a member at Gunsight Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Rickey Smith, Sr.; her husband, Larry Brinegar; and her brother, Rickey Smith, Jr.

Kristy is survived by her children, James Kerr, Chris Hobbs and wife Kelly, and Dakota Hobbs, all of Breckenridge, and Allie Holson and husband David of Enid, Oklahoma; her mother, Dorothy “Lou” Montgomery of Breckenridge; one sister, Stacy Bowen of Abilene; her father and mother-in-law, Frank and Jean Brinegar of Goldthwaite; and four grandchildren, Layla Hobbs, Harper Holson, Michael Hobbs, and Hayden Holson.
