Kolby Wayne Hughes

Kolby Wayne Hughes, son of Gary and Emily Hughes of Albany, Texas and Melinda and Delbert Smith of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on October 4, 2025. 

Kolby was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 1, 1997, graduated from Springtown High School and was employed by Amazon for the past 10 years.  Kolby was known for his sense of humor, willingness to help, and his smile. 

Kolby is survived by parents, Gary and Emily Hughes of Albany and Melinda and Delbert Smith of Fort Worth. Grandparents, Gary and Connie Hughes of Springtown, and Evelyn Hubbard of Ft. Worth, Texas. Siblings, Courtney (David) Waller of Albany and Andrew (Ann) Shutt of Arlington. Cousin Colt (Kirby) Hughes of Springtown and several aunts and uncles, who will cherish the memories and continue to celebrate his life. 

Though Kolby is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. May we find comfort in our memories and strength in one another as we say goodbye to a truly special soul.
