Kenneth Brandon Todd, 47, passed away in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. He was born on June 20, 1976 – Father’s Day – at Houston Memorial Hospital to parents Howard and Jann Todd of Albany, Texas. Kenny attended the Albany school system through all 12 grades and graduated in 1995.

Kenny faced many challenges after suffering a traumatic brain injury during his junior year. Despite those obstacles, hefinishedAlbany High School and earned three credits at McMurry University. Kenny was baptized and a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Albany. He attended several Baptist churches during his time in Houston.

His surviving relatives include his parents, Jann and Howard Todd; sister, Brandee Todd; nephew, Chase Todd Miller; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Tim Gray, Betsy Todd, KnoxToddandCourtenay Carmody, Holly and Jas Stephens, and Elizabeth Christian; great aunt, Patsy Todd; along with numerous cousins. Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.H. and Eleanor Cook, and Mary Kate Todd; one uncle,BruceTodd;andtwo aunts, Jeanne Herndon and Jayne Dustin.

The family appreciates the compassion, understanding, and patience shown to Kenny by the staff of Unified Health Care of Houston for the past 24 years.

A memorial service honoring Kenny will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, in the Chapel of Memories at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home in Breckenridge. Paul Johnston will officiate the service.
