Jane Foster Mitchell passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 in Temple, Texas.

She was born May 23, 1941 in Bell, California to Thomas and Fay Ola (Klaus) Foster. She graduated from Albany High School in 1959.

She worked at various jobs in Albany, including positions with Charles Hemphill, Jim Cotter, Bob Snyder, Bill Morrell, and the Albany Post Office. She also worked at post offices in Killeen and Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

She had recently retired from the post office Horseshoe Bay after working there for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Marble Falls; her daughter, Sabrina Swedlund and husband Harry of Breckenridge; her father-in-law, Bud Mitchell of Albany; her mother-in-law,
Rita Newcomb of Seminole, Texas; a sister, Nancy Holson and husband Johnny Ray of Albany; two nieces, Becky Cook and husband Ron of Albany; Jill Rogers and husband Michael of Stephenville; a nephew, Charles Holson of Albany; several great nephews; a great niece; several great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Kirk Holson. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. PD
