Jack Tabor

Jack Franklin Tabor, age 45, passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 in Cisco, TX. He was born on Oct. 17, 1973 in Eastland, TX to David Lloyd Carroll, Jr. and Nancy Kay (Wagley) Lancaster. He was a self-employed Diesel Mechanic.

Jack was a one-of-a-kind. He was loving, kind and would give the shirt off his back to help some in need. He was a dedicated friend, son, father, brother, uncle and “G-Pa” as his grandkids would call him. 

When his kids were young, Jack loved raising pigs. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, hunting, backroad drives and an ice-cold beer. He was loved by many, and he will be missed dearly. 

Those left to cherish his memory are mother: Nancy Lancaster and husband Jerry of Moran, TX; his children: Josh Liles of Shreveport, LA, Jackilynn Tabor of Snyder, TX, JoLee Tabor of Breckenridge, TX, and Tate Tabor and wife Summer of Moran, TX; two brothers: David Carroll III and wife Laura of Temple, TX and Shawn Carroll of Abilene, TX; one step brother: Michael Lancaster and wife B.J. of Moran; three sisters: Teresa Wagley and Wendy Tabor, both of Moran and Dana Carroll of Dallas, TX; his grandbabies: Josilynn Liles, Zoe Trevino, Zailynn Trevino and Mason Tabor; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: David Carroll Jr; one brother: Teddy Tabor and his nephew: Adan Sikes.

Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at Dennis Cemetery, south of Moran, TX under the direction of Parker Funeral Home of Baird.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to help the family with Jack’s funeral expenses. PD
