FRANCES WHEELER

Frances Wheeler, age 68 of Albany, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019. Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, October 6 at the Albany Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Frances Gazelle Alexander was born June 20, 1951 in Gorman, Texas to Hiram Franklin “Frank” Alexander and Juanita Gazelle Beck Alexander. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1969. On June 6, 1969, she married Jimmie Wheeler. 

Frances worked as the District/County Clerk for Shackelford County for several years and more recently worked for Asbury Law Firm in Abilene. 

She enjoyed cooking and sewing but spending time with her grandkids was her favorite pastime. 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Juanita Alexander.

Ms. Wheeler is survived by her two daughters, Tracy Northcutt of Abilene, Jenny Scott and husband Jonathan of Albany; and four grandchildren, Tate Northcutt, Trinity Northcutt, both of Abilene, Taylor Scott, Rylie Scott, both of Albany.
