Faith Alexander Morgan, 79, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Faith was born February 1, 1947, in Abilene, Texas, to Amiel Derious “A.D.” Alexander and Minnie Carline Cox. On February 1, 1966, she married Walter Morgan.
Faith was a devoted Christian whose faith was an important part of her life. Above all, she was a loving mother and granny, devoted to her family and the generations that followed her.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Alexander of Albany, Dian Sheffield of Albany, Jeanie Morgan and Ron of Cisco, Loraine Morgan of Gatesville, and Trissity Morgan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her son, Carl Morgan and Sherry of Breckenridge.
She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Partin, Mozelle Wilson, Amelia Smith and Glen, and Naomi Raily; her brother, Cornelius Alexander; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Faith was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. Alexander and Minnie Cox; her husband, Walter Morgan; her daughter, Mandy Morgan; her grandson, Landon Meadows; her brother, Thomas Alderson “Joe” Roach; and her sister, Mary Rogers.
Faith will be remembered for her devotion to her Christian faith and for the love she had for her family. As a mother and granny, she leaves behind a family spanning several generations and a legacy of faith and love.
