EVERETT LEE HAIL  

Lee Hail, age 64 of Albany, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6 at the United Pentecostal Church in Albany with Jeff Leverton, Cynthia Tollett, Eldon Roland, and BJ Kennimer officiating. Interment will follow in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at Morehart Mortuary of Albany. 

Everett Lee Hail was born Nov. 16, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to parents Everett Eugene Hail and Betty Hager. He graduated from Mesquite High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1976. 

On Nov. 17, 2001, he married Karan Williams in Terrell, Texas. Lee worked as a truck driver for Tollett Roustabout. He served as the minister of the United Pentecostal Church in Albany for many years and was also active in the prison ministry at the Walker Sayle Unit in Breckenridge. He loved God and the church. Lee enjoyed singing and playing guitar. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Harvey Dry; and his step-mother, Vivian Hail.

He is survived by his wife, Karan Hail of Albany; one daughter, Lori Gail Olvera and Jason Ramirez of Alvarado; one son, Connor Hail of Albany; one step-son, Lance Christian of Albany; one sister, Lavanda Hail Kennimer and husband Bobby of Terrell; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Williams of Carbon; one brother-in-law, Paul Williams and wife Teresa of Carbon; six grandchildren, Katlyn Olvera, Celestina Olvera, Aliana Olvera, Tristan Ramirez, Jayliyn Ramirez, and Tehya Ramirez; seven nephews and three nieces.
