DOUG MORGAN

Alvin Douglas Morgan of Lake Wales, Florida and formerly of Albany, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

He was born Aug. 23, 1936 in Ratliff City, Oklahoma to the late Biege and Emma Lou “Ella” (White) Morgan. He had been a resident of the Lake Wales area since coming from Texas in 1998. He was a Maintenance Foreman for Shackelford County, Texas. 

Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the card game Canasta, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Morgan; and grandchildren, Thomas Morgan and Holly Sargent.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Morgan; daughters Teresa Jones and husband George of Lake Wales, FL, Yvonne Sargent of Albany, and Angela Harper of Lake Wales, FL; brother Robert D. Morgan of Clearwater, FL; and three grandchildren, Leia Smith, Tobie Ann Cox , and Pete Berlin Harper.

Graveside service was held Friday, April 26 at Lake Wales Memorial Gardens. PD
