Debria Raye Trejo, 56, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022. Debria was born Apr. 22, 1966, in Sunset, Texas, to Mary Ann Reimer and James Ross Townsend. She graduated from Baird High School in 1985.

On Aug. 18, 1985, she married Steve Trejo in Albany, Texas, and they later welcomed three children. In 2006, she earned her degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling which enabled her to help others even more.

Debria was an adventurous woman and lived in many different places, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed creating, crafting, loved spoiling her grandkids, the beach, fishing and the beauty of nature. She taught her daughters how to work hard and to enjoy the small things.

Debria was preceded in death by her husband, Esteban (Steve) Trejo and their son, Steven Ray Trejo.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Trevis and wife, Ashlee, and daughter Julie Martinez and husband, Leeroy; three grandchildren, Isabella, Isaiah and Samuel Martinez, all of Wichita Falls. Her two sisters, Lorra Cullember of Cocoa Beach, FL and Becky Townsend of Melbourne, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes in Throckmorton, Texas, on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with services to follow at 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor D.J. Kennealy officiating. Interment will be at Throckmorton Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband and son.
