CONNIE NAIL
Connie Dianne (Fielder) Nail, age 75, of Bells TX formerly of Albany, was born on Feb. 10, 1947 in Odessa, TX to Douglas Harvey Fielder, Sr. and Treby Louise (Childers) Fielder. She passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX surrounded by her loving family.
Connie married Larry Henry Nail on July 16, 1981, in Albany, TX; together they celebrated 40 years of marriage. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend.
Connie loved her babies, grand babies, and family immensely. She enjoyed watching HG TV, cooking, gardening, decorating, fishing, and shopping. Some would say she was a “shopaholic”; she could shop until “you” dropped.
Connie is a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Albany, TX.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Nail, of Bells, TX; sons, Patrick Lester and wife Brenda of Tye, TX, Peter Lester of Bonham, TX, Douglas Taylor and wife Tamara of Bonham, TX; daughter, Karinda Shumate and husband Daniel, of Bonham, TX; and James “Jamie” Henry Nail, III and wife Cheryl of Albany, TX. Grandchildren, Allen Lester, Sadie and Cadie Lester, Patrina Lester, Paul Lester, Jonathan Lester and wife Megan, Dakota Taylor, Josh Taylor, Jedadiah Seabourn and wife Kelsey, Jacoby Seabourn and fiancé Abigail, and Kaitlyn Seabourn and fiancé Parker Bryan, and Jack Nail; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Fielder, Sr. and Treby Fielder; and brother, Douglas “Dee” Fielder, Jr.
Funeral service were held on Thursday, June 16, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.
On Friday, June 17, 2022 at Matthew Memorial Presbyterian Church 211 S Jacobs St., Albany, TX 76430, visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm. Pastor Anthony Ceder will officiate. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Moran, TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
