Barbara Jean Hudman

Barbara Jean Hudman, age 88 of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Funeral services were be held at 10am, Saturday, January 11th at First Baptist Church in Albany Texas with her nephew Tom Oliver officiating. Interment followed in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Barbara Jean Hudman was born June 29, 1936 in Gorman, Texas to Ray and Ruth Hudman. She graduated from Albany High School in 1954. Barbara worked for Low Buck Compressor for 20 years as a secretary.  She loved sunflowers, and the color yellow, but mostly loved spending time with people in her life that meant the most, her family, grandkids & great grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ruth Hudman; one brother, Harold Ray Hudman.

Ms. Hudman is survived by her daughter, Patsy Garrett and husband Jeff of Odessa; her son, Mark Angel of Albany; two brothers, Robert Hudman and wife Emma of Albany, Johnnie Hudman and wife Debbe of Albany; two sisters, Helen Oliver and husband Joe of Sweetwater, Teresa Whisler and husband Sewell of Watonga, OK; five grandchildren, Amanda Frazier & husband Bill, Freddy Vestal & wife Jackie, J.D. Garrett & wife Shelby, Zachary Angel and wife Summer, Remy Angel; eight great grandchildren, McKinley, Brayden, Grayson, Teaghan, Paisley, Hunter, Addie and Lily.

Pallbearers:  Freddy Vestal, JD Garrett, Bill Frazier, Gregg Oliver, JP Poe & Jack Poe.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Zachary Angel & Remy Angel.
