ASHLEY ALEXANDER

With great sorrow, Ashley Nicole Loftin Alexander, aka Big Momma, 38, of Albany, TX, passed away Monday July 17, 2023.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 201 S. Walnut St, Albany, TX 76430. Arrangements are with Girdner Funeral Home, Abilene

Ashley was born on March 22, 1985, in Houston, TX to Michael Loftin and Cynthia Hassell. She married Chris Alexander on Oct. 31, 2021, in Moran, TX.

She was a kind, brave, caring woman, and had the biggest heart for others. She was a one-of-a-kind woman who spent everyday to the fullest and continued her faith and sobriety daily.

Ashley was proceeded in death by her mother Cynthia Hassell; father, Michael Loftin; grandfathers Jack Hassell and Charles Walshak; and uncle Jerry Walshak.

Ashley will be forever remembered by her beloved husband, Chris Alexander of Albany, TX; brothers, Josh Hassell of Albany, TX and Jarrod Dobbs of Magnolia, TX; sisters, Bunny and husband Boo Cassell; June Bug Aleman; grandmother, Mariann Walshak of Albany, TX; beloved sister and friend, Joni and husband Travis Perkins of Albany, TX; her adopted family; in-laws; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and of course her fur babies.

A beautiful soul was taken too early, and we invite you to honor her memory with us. PD
