Andrew “Drew” Alexander Rodriguez, beloved father, son, brother, grandson and nephew.

Celebration of Life services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Beltway Park Church South Campus at 10:00 am. Graveside service and burial will be at the Albany cemetery following the celebration service.

Born April 26, 2000 in Stephenville, Texas to Wendy and Pedro Rodriguez Jr. Andrew was full of life and love from the moment God blessed this world with his presence. He was the first born, first grandson and first nephew on both sides, stealing the hearts of everyone around him.

Andrew had a love of sports. He started playing t-ball and soccer at the age of four and football at the age of six. Andrew played little league baseball and peewee football through the Wylie Abilene league. He went on to play football as a varsity Wylie bulldog in high school, advancing to the state playoff game his junior year. During high school, Andrew also loved being involved with all things Ag. He showed swine, participated in CDE cotton judging and Ag mechanics. He earned his level one welding certification before he graduated from high school in 2018.  Andrew then went on to be part of the Cisco college meat judging team.

Andrew was always surrounded by people that loved him. He never met a stranger and loved everyone.

Andrew had a great love for the outdoors. He loved  hunting and all things fishing. He also loved dancing and spinning the pretty girls around the dance floor. His favorite dance partner was his baby sister, Kylee Gayle. She was also his trusty sidekick growing up and into adulthood.

To know Andrew was to know a genuine sweet and loving soul that gave the most amazing bear hugs. God’s most precious gift to him was his baby boys Ranken Allen Wade, Dax Marshall and the love of his life Geraldine. Andrew was an amazing, loving father who truly enjoyed taking care of his family.

Andrew is survived by his sons, one and a half month old Ranken Allen Wade Rodriguez and five year old Dax Marshall of Albany; his love Geraldine Nichole Israel of Albany; his parents, Wendy and Vernon Moseley of Abilene, Pedro Rodriguez Jr. of Odessa; his loving sisters, Kylee Abigayle Rodriguez of Abilene, and Tina and her husband Billy Clark; nephew Axel Clark of Granbury; grandparents, Sherry Garvin of Albany, Rick and Sandy Miller of Tuscola; great grandmother Barbara Miller. Andrew’s aunts and uncles Ashley and husband Steve Wallis, Candie and husband Carle Atkinson, Carlos and wife Misty Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez, Rosie and husband Patrick Linwood, Fernando Rodriguez. Several cousins that knew how awesome “their Drewbie” was! Brady and Brynlee Wallis, Turner Atkinson, Alex Linwood, Kaylee Rodriguez, and many bonus cousins that loved him.

Andrew also has many other family members and a tremendous amount of friends that were actually family, waiting here to see him in Heaven one day. Andrew was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents Pedro Sr. and Carlotta Rodriguez, Sue Moseley; great grandparents Clyde and Joy Garvin, Bonnie Miller, Junior and Lura Mae Adkisson.
