Andanté Jones Harris, age 36 of Granbury, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Funeral services were held Monday, June 3 at Bethel Assembly in Albany with Rev. Martin Young officiating. Interment followed in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. 

Andanté Daneé Jones was born Dec. 14, 1982 in Abilene, Texas to parents, Joe Allen Jones and Melissa Ann Muir Jones. She graduated from Albany High School and attended Cisco Junior College as well as Weatherford College. 

On May 1, 2004, Andanté married Rob Harris in Albany. She was a stay-at-home mom, Jack-of-all-trades and master of none. Her passions in life were her two children, plus the many other children in the Granbury area. 

Andanté was involved in many programs in Granbury that had to do with the kids. She served as a PTO member for the school board for nine years, Vice President and member of Booster Club for soccer and attended Stonewater Church in Granbury. 

She was known for crafts, organizing, putting together banquets, graduations, and celebrations of many kinds for so many. 

Andanté was preceded in death by her father, Joe Allen Jones; her grandparents, Joe D. Jones, Ken and Ann Collier; her great grandparents, Jessie Hershey, Annie Coppedge, Richard and Jolene Mitchell, and Russell and Joy Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Rob Harris; her daughter, Malakye Harris; her son, Rallen Harris, all of Granbury; her mother, Melissa Jones of Albany; her mother and father-in-law, Annette and Rusty Harris of Albany; one brother, Ronny Ellis and wife Kayla of Breckenridge; two sisters, Josie Jones of Albany, Destiny Branson and husband Erik of Lipan; one sister-in-law, Denise Hudson and fiancé Bobby Brian of Brownwood; four nieces, Brittney Robinson and husband Casey, Bridgett Everett, all of Brownwood, Paisley Branson, Tansy Branson, both of Lipan; one nephew, Jackson Ellis of Breckenridge; two great nieces, Reagan Gill, Addison Robinson; two great nephews, Brock Robinson, Preston Everett; Richard Collier; uncles, Julian Jones, Jackie Collier, Tim Collier, Arnold Muir, Sidney Muir; aunt, Lori Collier; grandparents, Donald and Patricia Muir of Hamby, Vida Armitta Jones of Breckenridge; great grandmother, Leola Muir; and a large extended family of hundreds of cousins, great aunts and great uncles and a countless number of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Andanté Harris Memorial Fund at First National Bank of Albany or to the charity of choice and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at morehartmortuary.net.
