Bethel Albany’s annual Patch returns Saturday
The Patch, hosted by Bethel Albany, returns for its eighth year this Saturday, Sept. 27, bringing fall fun to Clear Fork Bank Park for the entire community. This year’s event also coincides with Bethel Albany’s 10th anniversary, adding an extra layer of celebration to the day.
The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with the opening of the pumpkin market, followed by a wide array of family-friendly activities starting at 10:00 a.m. Guests can enjoy live music, games, bounce houses, train rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and free family photo opportunities.
A community favorite, the Pumpkin Parade Contest, will take place again this year. Participants are invited to bring their decorated pumpkins to compete for prizes. Entries must arrive by 10:30 a.m., and the parade begins at 11:00 a.m.
Food trucks will be on site throughout the day, including Bartee BBQ, Happy Grill, Toni’s, and Show Cones with food and snow cones available for purchase.
“We are always excited when The Patch rolls around for another year,” said event organizers. “Each year it has grown in size, attendance, and fun, and we are looking forward to another great year with a few additions. It’s so cool to see the whole community mixing together—kids picking pumpkins, playing games, and all the creative pumpkin art we get to see for the pumpkin parade. There’s something about how the event connects the church body to one another that day, as well as connecting the church to the community.”
The Patch is free to attend and open to all ages. Come celebrate fall—and a decade of Bethel Albany—with fun, fellowship, and pumpkins.
