Basketball, volleyball camps scheduled next two weeks

Summer sports camps conducted by Albany coaches continue the next two weeks with basketball and volleyball camps.

The All-Sports Camp was held earlier this week. 

Registration with QR codes and contact information for the remaining two camps is available on Lauren Peacock’s and M.J. Reneau’s Facebook pages.

The Albany Basketball Camp is scheduled for Monday-Tuesday, June 2-3 at the Albany gym. The camp is open to boys and girls who will be entering kindergarten through seventh grade.

Sessions will be 9:00-10:15 a.m. for children entering kindergarten through third grade and 10:30 a.m.-noon for children entering fourth through seventh grades.

Cost is $35 per camper. Checks should be made payable to Ryder Peacock or Tate Thompson. Payment may also be made by Venmo to @Lauren-Peacock-15.

To ensure correct t-shirt size, participants should be registered by today, May 29.

The Albany Volleyball Camp is scheduled for Monday-Tuesday, June 9-10 at the Albany gym. The camp is open to students who will be entering first through ninth grades.

Sessions will be 8:00-9:30 a.m. for children entering first through third grades, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. for those entering fourth through sixth grades, and 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. for players going into seventh through ninth grades.

Cost is $30 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt. Checks should be made out to M.J. Reneau. Payment may also be made by Venmo to @MJ-Reneau or by CashApp to $MJRENEAU11. Cash or checks can be taken to the Nancy Smith Elementary office during summer hours.
