Fandangle rehearsals to kick off Monday

With summer around the corner, preparations for the 87th annual Fort Griffin Fandangle are shifting into gear. Rehearsals for the 2025 production will begin Monday, May 12, welcoming both returning cast members and newcomers ready to join the long-running community tradition.

Practices will take place at the Prairie Theater, with rehearsals scheduled three evenings a week throughout May. Each night will focus on different scenes and musical numbers to give all participants an opportunity to get involved.

Rehearsals will ramp up beginning June 9, moving to four nights a week as the cast works toward full run-throughs and final preparations for opening night.

This year’s performances will take place over two weekends: June 20–21 and June 27–28. The Fandangle Parade, a highlight of the season, will make its way through downtown Albany on the morning of Saturday, June 21.

Community members interested in being part of the show are encouraged to attend rehearsals—no experience is required. For questions or additional details, email info@fandangle.org.
