Chamber Crawfish Boil tonight at 6
The Albany Chamber of Commerce is throwing its annual Membership Crawfish Boil and Fish Fry tonight, and all members are invited to join the celebration.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m. outside the Depot building, where Chamber members and guests can enjoy a full meal of boiled crawfish and shrimp, crispy fried fish, and a spread of sides. The Happy Grill food truck will be frying up fresh onion rings on site.
The evening is meant to bring people together over good food and good company—and there’s something for all ages. A kids play area, with bounce houses, will be set up near the dining area, giving families a chance to enjoy the evening without worry.
“This is one of our favorite nights of the year,” said Chamber manager Brandi Lehew. “It’s laid-back, it’s fun, and it’s a chance to connect with folks in the community—whether you’ve been part of the Chamber for years or are just curious about getting involved.”
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will move inside The Feed Store.
Memberships can be renewed or purchased at the event. Annual dues are $75 for individuals and families, $50 for retirees, and $150 to $300 for businesses based on size. Non-profits can join for $50.
So whether you’re in it for the crawfish, the conversation, or the chance to support local efforts, come out tonight and be part of it.
