Girls to start district Saturday

The Albany Lady Lions volleyball team split two matches last week as the start of district play draws closer.

Albany (11-18) made its final nondistrict outing Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Miles, winning a tough five-set match 25-17, 2628, 16-25, 25-18, 16-14. Details will be reported next week.

The girls open District 6-2A play at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at home against Roscoe.
