School to okay budget, tax rate

A special meeting is set for Friday, Aug. 30 for the Albany ISD Board of Trustees to approve the 2024-25 budget and adopt a tax rate following a mandatory hearing that is open to the public.

The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m.

The district has proposed a $7.6 million budget, funded partially by a proposed tax rate of 70.66 cents per $100 valuation.
