AVFD to host fundraiser

The Albany Volunteer Fire Department’s Burgers and Birds fundraiser will be held Monday, Sept. 2 at the fire station at 609 Railroad St.

Department members will serve hamburger meals from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

“We’ll have hamburgers with a choice of chips and a drink,” AVFD Chief Joel Viertel said.

Meals will be sold by donation, with a suggestion of $12.
