PAULA GODFREY MATSON

Paula Kay Godfrey Matson, 72, of Breckenridge, formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. A memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Homei n Clyde.

Paula was born Oct. 26, 1951, in Oceanside, California to Jimmy and Alma (Evans) Godfrey. She graduated from Baird High  School andl ater from Texas Tech University. Paula enjoyed working with ceramics and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her son, Michael Christopher Matson of Albany and a brother, Lynn Godfrey and wife Melanie of Burleson.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Alma and her brother, Jay Godfrey.
