Albany pickleball teams to start June 23

More than 40 players signed up to participate in the Albany Pickleball League.

Organizer Chelsea Parsons said 10 teams will compete in women’s doubles with about a dozen in mixed. Some players will compete in both divisions.

The league will start play Sunday, June 23.

“We’ll have some playing at 7:30 p.m. and some playing at 8:30 p.m.,” Parsons said.
