County VFD to host meal April 28

The Shackelford County Rural Fire Department is sponsoring a brisket fundraiser Sunday, April 28 at the county fire barn, 623 Railroad St. beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Cost per plate will be $15 and will include sliced or chopped brisket, sausage, coleslaw, potato salad, beans, cornbread or sliced bread, and banana pudding.
