Parade Kicks Off Festive Holiday Season

All around the town. A large inflatable Santa (far left) greets spectators from the back of the Albany Senior Citizens entry, second in the Organization/Club category. There were about 25 entries in the 2025 Lighted Christmas Parade, including those riding on the MMPC Hunting, Fishing & Loving Jesus float (at left), first in Organization/Club, and the family members on the Carter Cart (below), third in the Best ATV/Mule/Golf Cart division. With the “big” train pulling and Louann George at the keyboard, the Fandangle’s steam-powered calliope (below left) bellowed out Christmas music and steam during the parade and was second in the Best Float/Individual category
