55 Believe Tree applicants have been adopted

A total of 55 applications have been submitted for the Believe Tree for Teenscampaign,according to The Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins.

The program provides gifts for junior high and high school students in Shackelford County each year. Wilkins said this yearhasseen34applicants from Albany and 21 from Moran.

“I got them all adopted,” Wilkinssaid.“Wehadsome late applicants this week, butweputapushoutthere and got it all done.”

Despite some scheduling changes, forms were delivered to local churches. Gifts are due back by Wednesday, Dec. 6.

“Ifsomeonehasadopted somebody, and there’s a delay in shipping, they should contact me so I can make notes,” Wilkins said. “I really want to stick to the Wednesday date so I can get everything wrapped and ready for delivery.”

Gifts will be delivered Sunday, Dec. 17.

Wilkins said Moran principal Jo Hise will deliver gifts to Moran students.

Wilkins will contact Albany recipients to arrange pickup times at The Feed Store.
