Albany Lions can take a break from leftover turkey and pumpkin pie at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 (tonight) to attend the Albany Athletic Booster Club’s downtown pep rally at Bank Park.

The Lions take on Muenster at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24 at Kangaroo Stadium in Weatherford. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals to take on the winner of Friday’s game between Collinsville and Roscoe.

Following the pep rally, the beating of the spirit drum will commence at 8:00 p.m. and continue until Friday’s send-off, which is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Friday at Bank Park.

The downtown pep rallies will continue the night before each game as long as the Lions remain in the playoffs.
