The Albany Junior High theater class presented the comedy “Happily Ever After” during a public performance on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the high school auditorium in preparation for the UIL competition later this week.

The cast and crew will present the play at the junior high One Act Play contest on Thursday, Nov. 16 in Stamford. The contest starts at 10:00 a.m., with Albany performing second.

The play includes a cast of 16 and crew of four, with teacher Melanie Turner directing.

The storyline involves characters from Grimm’s Fairy Tales requesting new, happy endings for their stories.

The cast includes Zadee Dunn – Helga, Charli Trail – Little Red, Cayla Green – Sarah, Seth Barrett – Gregory Wolf, Finlee Brown – Cinderella, Zoey George – Clarisse, Cash Edgar and Bennett Neece – servants, Kamryn Graham – Bertha Swine, Aiden Vickers – Frederick Swine,RushKidd–Horace J. Swine, Aubrey White – Shayna, Cole Richards, LandrinArchuletaandAce Vickers – other piglets, and Jakobi Roberson – Jacob Grimm.

Crew members are Carsyn Clegg – stage manager, Kara Burns – stage hand, Clay Chapman – lights, and Colter Edgar – sound.
