Rural fire dept. to host Sunday meal

A simple $5 purchase could be enough to walk away with a rifle that normallyretails for around $700.

The Shackelford County Rural Fire Department will raffle off a Ruger 6.5 Creedmoor rifle Sunday, Nov. 12, during its Chili Fundraiser at the County Fire Barn located at 623 Railroad St.

Raffle tickets are one for $5 or five for $20.
